WICKET! wohoo, Brad Hogg delivers! one of many wrong un's hes bowled tonight and this gets a top edge of an attempted sweep by Daniel Smith 12(12) and is caught by Alfonso Thomas at 3rd man

Hogg has bowled fantastically, lots of variation and excitement, he deserved a wicket!

Yasir to bowl the 18th and 20th overs.

greeted with a four! from Smith.....2nd ball he gets his man - making up for the earlier dropped catch. Smith is deceived by the slower ball, and gets a looping edge to 3rd man....could this be it?!

Smith 65(48)

Lyon the new batsmen to face the next ball.

Yasir bowling himself back into the game - Yorker which lyon drives to the fielder at cover. Then moves to give himself room on the next delivery and the ball takes the top of the stumps.

Lyon 0(2) bowled.

I am Giant walks in (Tremlett) holding his toothpick firmly in his hand

133/8 ... 21 from 12 balls

Wow what an over by the tail enders!

Lee swinging! Misses one completely, then pumps one over mid wicket for a 6! tries again on the third but it drops short of long on.
Tremlett faces the last ball of the over slices the ball for four!

Alfonso Thomas going for 14 runs in that over, MEANING..... 7 from 6 balls required. Arafat to bowl

Easy task in selecting the batsmen, but tricky to select the bowlers! Arafat and Lee - but with pace on this wicket you can go for plenty, or play conservatively with the spin of Lyon and Hogg? or even Scorchers can go with Behrendorff!

The First Super Over in the History of the BBL!

Scorchers to bowl first Steve Smith and Moses Henriques to bat with Nic Maddinson in 3rd.
Arafat to bowl

Wowee! first ball to Smith was done by some brilliant field placement by Kato Fine leg was up and so he tried to scoop it over, but Arafat sent in the slower ball and the bails light up! that means hes out!

What bowling by Arafat at the death. Such control, Full ball does Henriques who sends a low one to backward point. Simmons takes a good catch!

Arafat no doubt man of the match now, despite a solid knock by Katich

Scorchers only need 2 from the super over! 2 from 6 balls

Interesting! Katich isn't taking part with the bat in the super over!

Voges and Marsh to open with Ashton Turner!?!? at number 3. Lee to bowl.

Maybe if the 6ers had posted a bigger total Kato may have batted himself? anything can still happen! remember lee got a double wicket maiden in the first over!

All fielders are in to stop the single

SYDNEY THUNDER break there loosing streak!!!!! in a HUGE win over the Melbourne Renegades.

Renegades
batted first and thanks to so great bowling (Mendis 2/15) they could only manage 104 all out. Finch got a second ball duck!

Usman Khawaja and Dilshan both put on 46 runs each. Dilshan being the only one out at 1/89 the game was all but sealed!

Thunder win by 9 wickets!
